KINDLEDGER COACHING
Know what to do first, what can wait, and how to protect your financial future while you're still grieving. I create the support system I wish someone had handed me after my husband died.
You didn't sign up to suddenly be the one in charge of everything ~ the accounts, the bills, the decisions you never had to make alone before. But here you are, and the world keeps moving even when you're standing still.
I've been right where you are. Stack of papers on the table, grief in my chest, and no idea what to do first. What I found on the other side was more than just a financial plan. It was solid ground.
You don't have to figure this out alone. Let's start with one honest conversation.

When you are navigating the first years of widowhood as a working mom, the world expects you to keep moving forward, but your heart and your bank account feel like they are standing completely still.
The guilt of not having it all together can be overwhelming. "Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy."
— John 16:20
Whether this verse comforts you today or simply gives you something to come back to later,
I wanted to leave it here because it carried me when I couldn't carry myself.
Why I Created This
There was a night after my husband died when I found myself sitting alone at my kitchen table.
The mail was piled in front of me. Bills needed to be paid. Financial decisions couldn't wait.
But grief had settled over everything like a heavy fog.
Even after more than 25 years helping people solve tax and financial problems, I struggled to know what mattered first.
That's when I realized something no one had prepared me for.
Grief breaks your heart. The business of death fills your calendar.
Everyone talks about funeral plans.
Almost no one talks about the paperwork.
The taxes.
The insurance.
The phone calls.
The overwhelming responsibility that suddenly belongs to one grieving person.
I remember wishing someone had simply handed me a guide and said,
"Cathy...here's what matters first."
No one did.
So I created the support system I wish someone had handed me.
Today, I help widows find financial stability while navigating grief ~ not by rushing them toward the future, but by helping them take the next right step.
I've been right where you are.
And I'd be honored to walk beside you.
